John Howley took the oath of office Augst 27, 2025, to become the new treasurer of Pickaway County.
Howley brings to the job a diverse background involving award-winning journalism, banking, customer service and, most recently, as the Deputy Director of the Pickaway County Board of Elections where the office was named the top Board in the State of Ohio. Howley will use that experience to keep the office of Pickaway County Treasurer moving forward to serve the people who make this county a wonderful place to live and work.
Howley was sworn in by the Honorable Matthew Chaffin, judge of the Court of Common Pleas. Retiring Treasurer, Ellery Elick, swore in the deputy treasurers.
